Meet Maureen
Co-Owner + Pilates Instructor
Balanced Body — Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and Movement Principles
Maureen is the co-owner of Sunday Studio and the heart behind its Pilates programming. Trained through Balanced Body in Mat Pilates, Reformer Pilates and Movement Principles, her teaching style is rooted in intentional movement, strong fundamentals and helping people feel more connected to their bodies.
Her classes are thoughtful, welcoming and designed to meet you where you are. Whether she's slowing things down on the mat, turning up the energy in a heated sculpt class or guiding clients through the reformer, Maureen believes movement doesn't have to be complicated or intimidating to be effective. She encourages her clients to focus less on perfection and more on moving with purpose, building strength and learning to trust their bodies.
For Maureen, Pilates became about so much more than exercise. It became a practice that helped her slow down, reconnect with herself and find strength in both movement and stillness. Alongside her business partner, Paula, she wanted to create the kind of studio she was looking for herself: elevated but approachable, beautiful without feeling intimidating, and centered around movement, community and genuine connection.
Outside the studio, Maureen is a wife and mom of three boys. Her hope is simple: that Sunday Studio feels like a place you look forward to coming back to, not just because of how you move while you're here, but because of how you feel when you leave.

Meet Paula
Co-Owner + Yoga Instructor
200-hour RYT — Sage Yoga Hot, Cincinnati, Ohio, 2023
Paula Hudak is a 200-hour RYT-certified yoga instructor and the light behind our yoga offerings at Sunday Studio. She completed her certification through Sage Yoga Hot in Cincinnati, Ohio, in 2023 and loves bringing her passion for yoga to others.
Paula began practicing yoga in 2012 while living in Austin, Texas. She was intimidated walking into her first class, but left feeling something she had never felt before. As she moved from Texas to North Carolina and eventually back home to Ohio, she carried that desire to practice, learn and grow with her, spending three years regularly practicing hot power yoga.
Through some of the more difficult seasons of her life, yoga has taught Paula how to sit with discomfort, recognize that nothing is permanent and trust that she is far stronger than she often gives herself credit for. Her teaching style is approachable, intentional and rooted in the connection between strength, breath and body awareness, with creative sequencing and modifications for every experience level.
Outside of yoga, Paula is a high school Spanish teacher and enjoys spending time with her husband, Mark, and their dog, Noodle. She loves Rooster Joe Coffee, thrifting and listening to Noah Kahan, preferably all three at once.
